Crazy Truck on Poki Games
Designed as an homage to the automobile, the octave based truck has a couple of tricks up its sleeve. It also has a cool looking dashboard to boot. The graphics are top notch and it does its job of simulating a real life truck quite well. In fact, it makes for an entertaining multiplayer session.

It has a few flaws, though. The game is a little pricey, and the multiplayer mode is limited to the single player. The engine sounds are a bit stale. It is the type of game you'd enjoy with a few friends or family members, but you'd want to keep the volume at a minimum to avoid a noisy neighbour. The only downfall is that it may be a bit too difficult to play, as there's no controller agnostic in the mix. This may be a deal breaker for some gamers.

A few other notable shortcomings include the lack of a storybook ending and the stuttering inexplicable failure of the online multiplayer. The best way to enjoy the game is to play it on your local network, or in a virtual environment. Fortunately, the game is not limited to Xbox One, as it supports PS3, PS4, and PC. This means that you're never far from a friend or foe. It has been a while since I've enjoyed a game that requires more than two players, and I've been more than a little bored since my last console binge. I'm not saying I'd like to go back to the 80s, but a couple of drinks and a few nutty friends could go a long way.

Despite these faults, the octave sized vehicle has managed to win me over in the first go around. It does have its own perks, including a decent soundtrack and a smooth interface. As far as the actual truck itself goes, the octave is not a bad thing, but it may be time to move on to something a little more sexy. It's a nice way to kill a few hours, and I'm sure it will have a few good stories to tell in the long run. Hopefully, I'm not the only one who had a few too many too.

The most impressive thing about the octave is that you get to drive it. It may be a bit too expensive to be worth your hard earned cash, but if you can make it work, you're in for a treat. The game has a few interesting features, and the most engaging aspect of it is playing with other people. In my opinion, it's a good way to get to know your mates better. This is particularly the case if you're a fan of the genre that likes to play games for as long as possible. There's also a slew of gimmicks to be found in the online multiplayer mode, but if you can't afford to shell out the big bucks, there are plenty of free ones on offer.
