The villain of Hit the Target! is the ghost of a man named Hit the Target. He is a fictional character in the Cartoon Network cartoon series and was first introduced in an episode of Crystal Waters. This episode featured a ghost named Hit the Target who was burned to death. A different version of this character appeared in the Halloween special, where Lee dressed up as Hit the Target. Lee's costume scared Stampy. In the episode, Hit the Target was seen to be just as bad as Stampy when it came to shooting arrows.

Hit the Target has the ability to change the environment of the show. For example, in one episode, the protagonist, Stampy, builds a Beat the Heat Fire Station with a black wool and fire. Later, Stampy notices that two dogs were standing on treetops. This enables him to determine that Hit the Target is piloting a hot air balloon. In the next episode, Stampy rides on a hot air balloon to defeat Hit the Target. He then rescues Barnaby. In this episode, Stampy also meets the Lunar Friends.

After the first two episodes, Hit the Target was very elusive, as he chased the player. He also managed to get his hands on Stampy's dogs. He even hid in a cave before he could escape. This is a very frustrating episode, since the player can't move freely and may end up in danger. However, this is only one of the many hilarious moments of the game.
