One-Hit-Ko Games on Poki Games
In One-Hit-Ko games, players use special moves to kill opponents. These moves are more powerful and have a higher base accuracy than normal moves. The accuracy of a One-Hit KO move is 30%, but can be affected by evasion and status effects. A One-Hit KO move will fail if it is hit by a target with a higher Speed stat. However, the next hit of such a move can be guaranteed with an X Accuracy item.
One-Hit-Ko games are similar to the real world, but without the rare technology and forbidden techniques. Instead, these games are similar to fighting games. One-Hit KOs usually involve applying an enormous amount of force at once. In many games, this means a single punch to the face. The punch will only register if the target has less than 123 hit points, so if it misses, it won't do any damage.
One-Hit-Ko games are inspired by classic martial arts movies and videogames. These two-button combat games are fast-paced, single-player games that require great reflexes and pure skill to win. However, they don't involve the use of real weapons.
Players take turns to make moves. There is no set number of turns in One Hit Kill, so the number of players can vary from game to game. Each player takes one action during their turn, and the next player in turn order takes their turn after. One-Hit-Ko games are typically played with two to three players, although expansions can accommodate up to six players. In the core game, players compete to build the best weapon. Each weapon consists of a number of numbered component cards that must be placed in sequence. Similar to poker, the player with the highest card wins. The player can also use Special cards to draw more cards and force opponents to discard a card.
While the basic game of One Hit Kill requires a minimal amount of cards, it's not an easy one. The challenge comes from the fact that you must juggle multiple cards. It's important to avoid over-loading your hand. A large number of cards can be dangerous, and an Overload Special card can punish you for having too many cards.
