Drop Balls - What Are They?
Drop Balls are used to restart a game when a player has dropped the ball. They are usually uncontested, but in some cases a player can be yellow carded if they touch the ball again before it reaches the ground. In this case, a drop ball will be retaken by the team that last had possession of the ball.

Players start with fifty green balls and can earn an additional 50 by spending $2 or watching a video. It is also possible to get an extra yellow ball if you wait for 200 seconds. The goal of the game is to collect as many balls as possible, and they earn tokens and virtual cash rewards when they fall. The green ball is worth $0.01, while the yellow ball is worth one token. Each slot also has a multiplier to help players win more money.

Drop balls are a common way for teams to restart a game when a referee calls a stoppage. This can be triggered by a serious injury to a player, a foul from an opponent, a defective ball, or a change in possession. With video assistant referees, a dropped ball can also restart a game if the referee has made an incorrect call.

The term "drop the ball" originated in sports. The use of the phrase is often a negative one, as failing to catch the ball can have negative consequences for a team. In football, fielders cannot keep the ball when a runner drops it, and in baseball, the ball carrier is often penalized for dropping the ball.
